Bicycle tool test: The Team Edition Tool Kit from Feedback Sports is intended to provide valuable services for demanding bicycle mechanics in the field. The compact bicycle tool set was developed with the help of feedback from Tour de France, Enduro World Cup and World Cup Downhill mechanics. What is in the TPU-coated bag and does it really allow for the most common bicycle repairs and maintenance work?

According to the manufacturer, the company's products are used at the Tour de France, at world championships and in the World Cup, among other places, making them the first choice for demanding cyclists and mechanics worldwide.
Feedback Sports Team Edition Tool Kit: First Impression
Unlike most of the bike tool sets in our test series, the Feedback Sports Team Edition Tool Kit does not come in a hard-shell plastic case, but in a TPU-coated, waterproof nylon bag. The bag not only makes a very robust and high-quality impression, but also offers the option of hanging it on a work stand or a wall. The bag can be stiffened with the help of a foldable rod and thus allows easy access to the tool. The tools are held in the bag by rubber loops, free loops allow the set to be expanded with individually required tools.
Processing and feel
The good impression that the bag conveys continues at the same level with the tools. Both the processing quality and the feel are convincing across the board. The tools are very comfortable to hold and enable optimal work with efficient use of force. This applies to the chrome-plated tools as well as to the tools with a soft grip. The screwdrivers also come with a magnetic tip. The chain tool, the chain pliers and the cable cutter with crimping function are also at the top level - to name just a few. The Torx and Allen keys in Y-shape are just as good in terms of quality, but due to their design they are not always completely unproblematic to use.
Which repairs are possible and can the tool convince in use?
The Team Edition Bicycle Tool Kit from Feedback Sports offers a fairly manageable content, but it is put together in a sensible way. In most cases, the range is sufficient for quick repairs, but it must not be too specific. Among other things, a torque wrench, cone wrench, a larger selection of Torx wrenches, a crank puller and a chain gauge are missing. In this regard, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The double-ended hook and valve tool, both included, are useful tools that other bike tool kits lack.
