Cycling: The first stage of the Tour de Romandie ends with a victory for Dylan Teuns. The Belgian was only able to catch the Australian Rohan Dennis a few millimeters from the finish line. But he can now be happy about the leader's jersey, after he also finished second in yesterday's prologue.
Teuns confirms his top form
The 178-kilometer stage from La Grande Beroche to Romont will not exactly go down in the history of the Tour de Romandie as the most exciting. Only in the final ascent did the section captivate the spectators and offered an exciting fight for the day's victory and the leader's jersey. For a long time it looked like it would Rohan Dennis (Jumbo – Visma) get both, but then came Dylan teuns (Bahrain-Victorious). The winner of the Flèche Wallonne gained meter by meter and practically passed the finish line. After all, the day's second can look forward to the leader's jersey. The podium completes Marc Hirschi (UAE) from Switzerland.
