Godon also takes over overall leadership

Double victory in the mass sprint at the Tour de Romandie. After 165,7 kilometers from Château d'Oex to Fribourg, the Frenchman Dorian Godon (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) in front of his Italian teammate Andrea Vendrame (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale). This means that the winner of the day also takes the lead in the overall ranking. The six outliers around the German Yuri Hollman (Alpecin – Deceuninck) and the Austrian Patrick Gamper (Bora – hansgrohe) were caught shortly before the finish. Hollmann can still be happy because he will be competing in the mountain jersey tomorrow.
