Test: The Zero rh+ Olympo AirX glasses offer a special feature in the entire test field, because they have a so-called Syncro Swing lens system. The driver can simply fold the glasses up without having to remove the glasses.
Zero rh+ Olympo AirX – glass
The lenses of the Olympo AirX are of high quality and equipped with shock/scratch-resistant technology to ensure stability. Even if you could count this point as part of the fit, it must be mentioned that the lenses have a very unconventional shape, which is why the field of vision is relatively narrowed. Here you also clearly have to struggle with the fact that dirt gets under the glasses more easily, since the glasses are a bit too small. However, the surface is well coated, which is why water rolls off effortlessly.

The point mentioned above also comes into play with the frame, since the glasses are completely enclosed and the already narrowed view is therefore significantly restricted. The special feature and the big highlight, if you will, is the Syncro Swing lens system: according to the manufacturer, a world first in sports technology. This technique makes it possible to lift both lenses at the same time with one hand. This means riders can choose between protecting themselves from the sun or the wind, or prioritizing ventilation, which is especially handy when riding uphill.
The mechanism works perfectly and the glasses are not moved even by blows and vibrations. However, in our view, such technology, as innovative as it is, is not necessarily what most other eyewear fails to do. So for us it's a nice feature for performance glasses, but not absolutely necessary. The length-adjustable brackets, on the other hand, are practical. The temples are snug and offer good support without being too tight. The same goes for the nose pads, which fit neatly. In general, the glasses look a bit bulky, but come with a nice presentation.
