Product news: Ninja Mount has already made a name for itself in the scene with innovative action cam mounts. Today the time has come and Ninja Mount is launching a new gadget on the market - the ChainFin - an additional guide for the chain, which is intended to ensure an even quieter bike with just a few simple steps and at a convincing price. You can read in the following article whether Ninja Mount was able to convince us with their new product.
ChainFin - What's behind the novelty
Who doesn't know/hate it - the annoying noise of a rattling chain on a bike? With ChainFin this should now be over, because this promising tool was developed for a smoother guidance of the chain.
The fins, which are manufactured using the injection molding process, are made of a flexible and dampening plastic - Made in Germany. Depending on the shape of the struts, up to four ChainFins can be flexibly mounted on the bike using the cable ties included in the scope of delivery. Due to the individual mounting on chainstays or seatstays, the fins are just as suitable for multiple drives as for single drives or single-speed bikes.
We were able to take a look at the new product even before it was launched and tested it on a wide variety of bikes. Installation is super easy with the cable ties included in the set and never took more than 15 minutes in our test on different bikes. In practical use, the ChainFins were convincing, because the well-known unpleasant noises of the chain could no longer be heard from the time of assembly. So we think that the ChainFin, with its introductory price of €16,99, is an affordable all-round product that can make the driving experience significantly more enjoyable.

Ninja Mount and everything you should know about the brand
Behind the Brand Ninja Mount is Daniel Blank from near Munich, who himself is a passionate biker and no less a tinkerer. He likes to look for simple solutions to known problems, which is how the Ninja Mount crowdfounding project came about in 2017. In the meantime, you can find several action cam mounts for different full-face helmets in the range - not only for use in mountain biking, but also for numerous other sports, such as motocross, ATV or any other discipline in which a full-face helmet is an advantage. In addition to the mounts and a stylish mudguard, the ChainFin is also available from today.
The action cam mounts are now also used by professionals such as Ines Thoma (Canyon Factory Racing) or Jesse Melamed (Rocky Mountain Raceface Enduro Team) to film their race runs. In the following video you can see Madison Saracen Factory Race Team's Danny Hart winning the 2019 World Cup Finals in Snowshoe - filmed with the Ninja Mount.
