No wonder, as organic mountain bikes are now the exception rather than the rule, not to mention everyday and trekking bikes. And so the Bulls innovations for 2024 will play out primarily in the E segment.

And there are many innovations in the 2024 model year. A highlight of Eurobike 2023 was the MGU from gearbox specialist Pinion. With the Vuca EVO FSX 1, Bulls demonstrates that the Pinion MGU gearbox isn't limited to mountain bikes. Featuring an aluminum main frame and a slightly simpler rear triangle design, this bike is an extremely comfortable, efficient touring and everyday bicycle that boasts maximum durability and low maintenance. 120 mm of travel front and rear is more than enough for the FSX's intended use, and the twelve gears are almost excessive. Bulls Sonic EVO AM SX 2: Superlight carbon fully with new Bosch motor
One of the major trends in the electric mountain bike sector is the "light e-MTB": bikes that, with their low weight and less powerful motor assistance, offer a more natural riding experience, appealing to those coming from a "bio-bike" who don't want to miss out on its advantages. Bosch is addressing this trend with the SX motor: introduced this summer, the unit is around 900 grams lighter than the Bosch Performance CX and comes with a significantly lower torque of 55 Nm and also lower maximum power. However, with a sporty, high cadence, the compact motor provides strong acceleration, especially when the bike, like the Sonic EVO AM SX 2, weighs less than 19 kilograms. The carbon full-suspension bike with a four-bar linkage rear suspension and 140/130 mm of travel is incredibly agile and nimble. Given the smooth operation of the motor, the drive can be used very precisely and doesn't need to constantly provide assistance – making the 400 Wh battery life quite manageable. With its electronic twelve-speed shifting system, the 29-inch bike is top-of-the-line; Mavic system wheels, dropper post and top-quality components such as a carbon handlebar make the Sonic Evo even more attractive.
Bulls Sonic EVO SX 2: Superlight high-end hardtail
The new Sonic EVO SX 2 hardtail weighs a mere 17 kilograms, according to manufacturer Bulls – remarkably light for an e-MTB with the dynamic drive support of the Bosch SX motor. Besides the compact, sporty motor, the carbon frame also contributes to the low weight; with a lightweight RockShox SID fork and electronic SRAM shifting, the overall package is of very high quality. In all its aspects, the new Bulls is practically a conventional mountain bike with motor assistance, which it doesn't always need. Even without assistance, the Sonic rolls along effortlessly once you exceed 25 km/h – the Bosch motor only needs to be engaged when truly required. Tuned for high cadences, it provides more dynamic acceleration with the appropriate riding style than its 55 Nm of torque would suggest.
Bulls Sonic EVO AM 3 ABS 29/27,5: All-mountain fully with brake assistant
The beefy all-mountain fully with 150 mm of suspension travel at the front and rear with the innovative carbon frame comes in a new version: Bulls is using the Bosch ABS on this model for the first time on the MTB, and the extremely safe brakes have proven themselves there too. On loose surfaces, the sensors reliably prevent the front wheel from locking, which is helpful in many driving situations.

Bulls Copperhead EVO ABS 29: Strong motor and safe brakes
Starting in late summer 2024, Bulls will be launching the Copperhead EVO ABS 29, an all-around worry-free hardtail featuring an aluminum frame, a 120mm air suspension fork, and an 11-speed drivetrain. This 29er, with its stable straight-line tracking and vibration-damping 66mm tires, is equipped with a Bosch anti-lock braking system for maximum riding safety. The bike can be safely braked even from high speeds on loose surfaces, making the Copperhead suitable for less experienced riders, for example, those planning tours with significant elevation gain on forest roads. The ABS provides assistance both when braking in fast corners and on straightaways. Range and motor power are the focus of the all-rounder Bulls E-Stream EVO 1 27,5 , which, as a step-through hardtail, offers noticeable advantages in handling. The Brose system's battery is available in three versions with a capacity of up to 925 watt-hours – almost one kilowatt – guaranteeing endurance on long rides with significant elevation gain. This makes the E-Stream ideal as a touring mountain bike. The high-torque drive also offers advantages for this type of riding – it propels even less powerful riders up the steepest climbs. If desired, the motor's torque can be increased to a hefty 95 Nm – it doesn't get much more powerful than that. With a 120 mm air suspension fork and 27,5-inch tires, the Bulls offers modern mountain bike technology; the ten-speed drivetrain with an 11-48 tooth cassette provides a wide gear range. A smartphone adapter on the stem and interfaces for lights powered by the drive battery further enhance the e-bike's practical features.
Bulls Grinder EVO: Sporty e-gravel bike
Bulls calls its new category of e-bikes with Bafang rear hub motors "Light Assist." The term refers to models that position themselves between e-bikes and conventional bikes, sometimes riding without any motor assistance, sometimes with support. The Bulls Grinder EVO e-gravel bike is a good example: The motor is really only needed on climbs, where – activated by a high cadence – it delivers a noticeable boost. But the Bulls can also be converted for everyday use and is then interesting for sporty commuters. These can retrofit lights that are powered by the drive battery and of course install a rear rack and mudguards. Cologne-based brand Bafang presents the Urban EVO 3, an elegant and sporty "light e-bike ." This super-lightweight everyday and touring bike features a motor designed solely for assistance against headwinds and uphill climbs. Riders can switch it off and glide along using only their own muscle power, without the compact rear-wheel drive adding any resistance. When needed, the Bafang motor delivers a powerful boost, especially at higher cadences. Young mountain bikers will love this Bulls bike: For boys and girls between 120 and 145 cm tall, the Cologne-based company offers the Tokee Disc EVO 24, a lightweight, sporty, and child-friendly e-MTB with a Bafang rear motor that promises powerful acceleration off-road and makes bike tours with parents possible.
