Brand-new news for lovers of exclusive titanium frames: based on the proven 29er model MCM 29, the Brandenburg bike manufacturer Kocmo has developed a mountain bike frame for Plus tires. The new frame allows tires up to 3.0 inches and of course comes with the Boost standard.
Seamless drawn titanium tubes (Ti 3AL/2.5V) with an elegant, brushed finish are used. Both the dropouts and the shift and brake stops are CNC machined. The rear triangle, fork and bottom bracket are wider than the MCM 29, allowing the use of Plus tires. But it doesn't just have to be fat: Alternatively, the MCM 29"+ can also be driven with conventional 29-inch tires.
Kocmo specifies the weight of the frame as a slim 1,4 kilograms. The manufacturer grants a lifetime guarantee on the frame. The Kocmo 29"+ is available in sizes S to L, available both as a frame for 1800 euros and as a complete bike for 3999 euros. A custom geometry and custom paintwork is also possible for an additional charge. A plus version is already in the works for fans of the 27.5" wheel size.
