The reigning Olympic champion, road and cyclocross world champion Marianne Vos is not only a well-known figure in women's cycling. Her radiance also draws attention outside of the scene. The Rabobank-Liv team will be all the happier that the Dutchwoman will also lead the squad in the 2014 season. Alongside her, Lucinda Brand, the current Dutch road racing champion, and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, the reigning French time trial and cross champion, will have important roles in the team.
However, in order to be as broadly based as possible, the team also strengthened itself with the Dutch Anna van der Breggen, fourth overall in the 2013 World Cup, as well as German champion Anna Knauer and Polish climbing specialist Katarzyna Niewiadoma.
“Rabobank Liv Team athletes are great brand ambassadors and outstanding personalities and athletes. Together with them and the team organization, we want to further advance cycling and inspire future generations of riders.", said Bonnie Tu, founder and CEO of the Liv/giant brand, during the team presentation in Utrecht.
In the 2014 season, the Rabobank-Liv team will primarily focus on the Envie Advanced- be on the road with models. In addition, the riders will also be outfitted with Liv/giant clothing and gear.
