Performance e-hardtail at a low price!: Radon Jealous AL Hybrid

July 20, 2020 by the editorial office

E-Performance: With the Jealous AL Hybrid, Radon is launching a completely revised frame. The entry-level version of the hardtail e-mountain bike with Bosch Performance drive is impressive with a good price-performance ratio. However, performance, comfort and driving safety can also be increased significantly with better components. We have put together initial information, equipment and prices for you.

Radon Jealous Hybrid 8.0: Great value for money

The powerful Bosch Performance CX motor with a powerful 75Nm and 340% pedal assistance will get you up to speed quickly with the Jealous AL Hybrid 8.0. To keep it that way, a 625Wh power pack was elegantly integrated into the down tube of the completely redesigned aluminum frame. Long trips are always guaranteed.

Crisp gear changes on tour, thanks to Shimano's 11-speed gears from the DEORE series, the right gear is always ready. But comfort is not neglected either, because the air-suspended Rock Shox Judy Silver always remains comfortable even on long trips. The equipment package is rounded off by the robust Schwalbe Smart Sam tires and Shimano's BR-MT200 brakes, which provide the necessary portion of braking power.

Radon Jealous Hybrid 9.0: Big brother with an equipment bonus

If you are looking for the same thrust as with the little brother Jealous AL Hybrid 8.0 thanks to Bosch's Performance Line CX motor, but still want to have that certain equipment extra on board, you will be completely happy with the Jealous AL Hybrid 9.0. Just like its little brother, the Bosch Powerpak 625 Wh is fully integrated.

The more sensitive Rock Shox 35 Gold provides more comfort. The big brother also comes up with more braking power, because the Magura MT Trail Custom brakes have four pistons on the front wheel and a larger brake disc.

For the extra portion of grip, a set of Nobby Nic from Schwalbe was installed in the Addix Speedgrip compound. Together with the retractable Radon Vario post, you always have full control on the trail and with the Jealous AL Hybrid 9.0 you will find a loyal companion in a timelessly elegant guise.

Radon Jealous Hybrid: geometry and features

A comparison of the equipment list immediately suggests more comfort, safety and performance with the Radon Jealous AL Hybrid 9.0.
