GT Force GT-E: Is so much fun "E-legal" yet?

17 October 2019 by the editorial office

E-Performance: GT Bicycles, a US premium brand, presents the new GT Force GT-E, a fun and agile E-MTB trail bike for the 2020 model year. The rear triangle platform was optimized to the requirements of an e-bike. The Force GT-E is a real e-bike and not just an electronically assisted mountain bike. The GT Force GT-E is available in two model variants from €3.799.

GT Force GT-E: The concept behind the bike

The Force GT-E was designed for bikers who want to explore the limits of what is possible uphill and downhill. For this reason, the proven GT LTS chassis platform relies on 150 mm of travel front and rear. In addition, the 29" wheels with their wide and aggressive tires offer high grip on any terrain.

Fast and lively through the forest run.

The Force GT-E, with its longer chainstays, a steeper seat tube angle and powerful 4-piston disc brakes, masters all climbs without any problems and is particularly in top form on the descents. The grin gets bigger with every kilometer.

GT Force GT-E: The Shimano STEPS drive

The Shimano STEPS drive system with maximum integration was installed on the GT Force GT-E. The motor sits unobtrusively in the center of the bike. Due to this low center of gravity, the bike sits firmly on the trail even in the situation. Depending on the riding style, the Shimano drive supports the rider with three different support modes - Eco, Normal or High. The modes are coordinated in such a way that a natural driving experience is conveyed at all times.

With the powerful battery, it is possible to travel up to 80 kilometers. Bikers can enjoy every ride and experience a whole new kind of mountain biking.
