SR Suntour Durolux 2020: New equalizer negative air chamber
The dimensions show that the SR Suntour Durolux 2020 is designed for tough use: 36mm stanchions, Boost axle standard and spring travel of 150 to 180mm promise tough qualities in every situation. Three damping units are available: RC PCS – with adjustable compression and rebound; RC2 PCS - with two compression stages (high and low speed as well as one rebound stage; R2C2 PCS - the top model with two rebound and compression stages each.
All versions have the new Equalizer negative air chamber in common. While the previous SR Suntour Durolux forks used a steel negative spring, the new Equalizer technology aims to improve the performance of the fork, especially with regard to different rider weights. Perfectly tailored to the rider, SR Suntour promises a riding experience similar to that of a pure steel spring fork with the Air EQ system. In addition, the closed damping unit (PCS) has been revised.
The SR Suntour Durolux, which was also designed for use on E-MTBs, will be available from May 2020 at a fair price starting at 639 euros. We are curious how the fork will perform on the trails!
