Primoz Roglic dominates one-day races
Vuelta winner Primois Roglic (Jumbo – Visma) seems to have managed to maintain his top form weeks after the Tour of Spain. In the last four days, the Slovenian has achieved two victories in one-day races. On Saturday, the 29-year-old won the 102nd Giro dell'Emilia. He triumphed with a lead of 14 seconds Michael Woods and Sergio Higuita, both from the EF Education First team. This Tuesday he left Varesine at the 99th edition of Tre Valli Giovanni Visconti (Neri Sottoli – Selle Italia – KTM) and Tom's Skujins (Trek – Segafredo) behind by three seconds. Primoz Roglic impressed with lively starts just before the finish. In this condition, the former ski jumper can also be counted among the contenders for the Lombardy Tour, which will be held next Saturday as the last monument of the year.
