The two mountain bike shoes from the 2018 fall collection feature second-generation Intact Rubber. According to the manufacturer, this even more resistant rubber compound is less susceptible to wear and tear and still has a Shore A rating of 60. In addition, the heel pocket has been improved in both models and the fit has been increased, which significantly reduces heel lift. The developers also focused on ankle protection - the ankle foam was made denser and thicker to optimize protection. In order to prevent the outsole from detaching from the upper, the adhesive formula has been optimized to achieve a significant increase in adhesion. Last but not least, wax-free laces will be used in the future, which should slide even better in the eyelets.
