Market: With the new Kids Sprocket Collection, the US lifestyle bicycle brand Electra is expanding its portfolio with a new bike series for children. The child-friendly models come in frame sizes of 16 and 20 inches in a total of eight cool designs. Of course, all kids bikes have the patented Flat Foot technology for easy mounting and dismounting.
The new Electra Kids Sprocket models are designed to enable children to learn to ride a bike while having a good dose of fun - and in the safest way. There are two frame sizes to choose from depending on age and height. The 16 inch Kids Sprocket is suitable for novice drivers aged three to five years or with a height of 92 to 117 cm. The highlights of the lightweight single-speed bike include the reinforced tires, the aluminum frame, the removable support wheels and the adjustable front brake lever. The 16 inch Kids Sprocket is available in the colors Slime Green, Ninja Black, Bubblegum Pink or Seafoam.
The slightly larger 20-inch version comes with a 3-speed hub gear or 7-speed derailleur. Equipped with an individually adjustable saddle, luggage rack and light, nothing stands in the way of the first longer two-wheeler adventures. As a special highlight, the double crank arm allows an adjustable pedal height so that the bike can grow with you. You can choose from the color worlds Satellite Grey, Asteroid, La La Lavender and Sugar with colour-coordinated handlebars. Both frame sizes use Flat Foot technology, which allows both feet to be placed in all riding situations. The patented system, which is based on an innovative frame construction with a changed angle of the seat position and pedals, guarantees extra safety in the event of abrupt stops or spontaneous turning manoeuvres.
