Spectrum: A special adventure awaits the participants of the West Africa Cycle Challenge 2018. The tour covers a distance of 300 kilometers from Sierra Leone to Liberia. The focus is not only on the joy of cycling, but also on a good cause. The West Africa Cycle Challenge is organized by the recognized aid organization Street Child Deutschland eV with the aim of drawing attention and raising funds.
With its work, the aid organization Street Child wants to give poor and vulnerable children better educational and life opportunities. After the first project in Sierra Leone, the commitment was extended to Liberia, Nigeria and Nepal. According to the organization, more than 60.000 children have now been supported. A project to draw attention to the need in the countries and at the same time to generate donations is the West Africa Cycle Challenge. After this year's premiere, the West Africa Cycle Challenge will start its second round from January 21st to 27th. The multi-day challenge is aimed at adventurous cyclists who are looking for both a challenge and unforgettable moments. It starts in Sierra Leone and finishes at the palm-lined Robertsport Beach in Liberia. The tour also visits the Street Child projects, where each participant can get an idea of the work of the helpers or organization directly on site.
