Product News / Eurobike 2017: Now firmly established on the market for sporty cycling glasses, the Americans from 100% are presenting two new models at the Eurobike 2017: the Speedtrap and the Centric. While the sporty Speedtrap is an offshoot of the well-known Speedcraft, the Centric appeals more to those who are looking for glasses for on and off the bike.
100% Speedtrap - Full frame and spherical lenses
The 100% Speedcraft should probably already be familiar to some – be it because of its futuristic design that takes some getting used to, because of the huge field of vision or last but not least because of Peter Sagan, who wears the Californian glasses. With the Speedtrap, the successful model now has a new offshoot with a continuous frame, a similarly daring design and the same high level of comfort. The spherically shaped lenses can of course also be replaced on the 100% Speedtrap and are available in different tints or completely clear. With adjustable nose pads and length-adjustable temples, the Speedtrap can be individually adapted to different requirements.
The Speedtrap is initially available in five standard colors - there is also a limited Peter Sagan Edition in stylish silver. The standard variants will cost around €200, the Peter Sagan Edition is slightly more expensive at €220.
100% Centric - Stylish border crosser
The Centric is completely new to the 100% range. The modern design also makes a good impression when you are not sitting in the saddle and the scratch-resistant lenses easily withstand the rough treatment of everyday life. But the 100% should also cut a good figure on the bike - the sporty seat helps with this, which, with the elastomer pads on the nose and temples and the flexible, rubberized bracket ends, does not deteriorate even during strenuous activities. The price for the Centric will be around €120-140 depending on the lenses you want.
