Product news: With the new EnviLiv Lineup, the manufacturer, which focuses specifically on the production of bikes for female riders, presents its latest aerobike models. The completely newly developed EnviLiv Aerobike is designed for speed and efficiency and should bring the decisive advantage.
The new EnviLiv Aerobike was accompanied with precise tests and adjustments in the development process in order to bring out the best aerodynamic performance. In addition, the engineers paid particular attention to an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio in order to bring efficiency to the highest level without neglecting comfort.
EnviLiv Aerobike - Designed for women
Liv is the only bike brand that builds bikes exclusively for women. Liv invests 100% of his resources, attention and dedication into developing bikes and gear that optimize the riding experience for women, creating more product options for women who ride.
To provide the ideal geometry for the majority of women, each size in the EnviLiv range is developed based on data on women's body measurements and riding experience. Liv engineers worked closely with Liv Racing Collective triathlete Lisa Tertsch on wind tunnel and prototype testing, and also gathered feedback from Liv Racing TeqFind and Team Jayco AlUla riders. Finally, the Liv product team, together with its partners:innen, selected components that fit every frame size and purpose of the bike in order to offer the best possible fit from the first ride.
“We developed the EnviLiv in collaboration with our athletes to provide women with a bike that fits their training commitments and race results. The EnviLiv was developed for performance-oriented female road cyclists who want to break personal records and ride at the front of the pack – from aerodynamics and light weight to the latest components, the EnviLive has everything it takes.” – Meg Hung, Liv Global Bicycle Category Manager
Optimized aerodynamics and best efficiency
To live up to the Aerobike name, the latest AeroSystem Shaping technology, derived from data from Computational Fluid Dynamics research and wind tunnel testing, has been applied to the entire EnviLiv range. This technology is designed to ensure that every tube shape and angle ensures minimal drag and lighter weight down to the last detail. Every EnviLiv model is equipped with two aerodynamically optimized drinking bottle holders that are perfectly integrated into the down tube and the seat tube. The new Contact Aero carbon handlebar should also fit perfectly into the overall concept and improve aero efficiency and comfort for the hands.
In addition to aerodynamics, efficiency was also at the top of the developers' list. With a high-end carbon layup from the company's own carbon factory and with the most modern construction methods, the basis should have been created here. This enabled a significant weight saving of 292 grams for the EnviLiv Advanced frames.
“Liv made no compromises when it came to redesigning the EnviLiv and I can't wait to ride it this season. From aerodynamic improvements to the integration of new technologies, this bike is made for podiums.” – Lisa Tertsch, Liv Racing triathlete
