Product news: Cyclocross is the racing trend par excellence and is gaining more and more enthusiasts. It goes without saying that bike development is also becoming more and more specialized here. Since the last cyclocross season, Liv Cycling has had a prototype in racing events that is now ready for series production. The Liv Brava Advanced Pro has already been extensively tested by professionals like Marianne Vos. The stiff, specially shaped carbon frame offers ideal properties to be able to shoulder the bike comfortably and still not lose any of its driving characteristics.
“We designed the new Brava Advanced Pro models so that right out of the box they feel like they were tailored to women's needs. We wanted to offer serious female cyclocross racers unmatched performance and control, which will help them be more efficient on the racetrack,” says Meg Hung, Liv Cycling Product Category Manager. "That's why the bike features a carbon frame and fork, an OverDrive 2 head tube, and a unique down tube design that keeps the bike clean and makes it easy to carry over the obstacles of the racetrack."
Liv works with professional athletes who have put our prototypes through their paces and whose findings flow into series production. The Brava Advanced Pro was extensively tested in particular by the seven-time cyclocross world champion Marianne Vos from Team CCC-Liv:
“Last cyclocross season I rode a prototype of the all-new Brava Advanced Pro. Even though my season was shorter than planned, this bike helped me rise to the challenge. So I was able to surpass myself in the race. The Brava Advanced Pro is a race-ready bike. It's responsive, with a stiff frame for great handling and fast acceleration. This combination of speed and control is critical to being successful in cyclocross.”

With features such as a 12 mm front thru-axle, 1-speed drive, a tire clearance of up to 45 mm and the tubeless tire setup, this race bike can really face any cyclocross route. It doesn't matter whether you drive over clay, gravel, mud, sand or asphalt.
The integrated seat post clamp of the Brava Advanced Pro is positioned further down than usual. This results in greater leverage and thus maximum clamping force, as well as more flexibility and comfort. Instead of the D-Fuse seat post, you can also use one 30,9 dropper post be installed so that the bike can be adapted depending on the intended use and personal preferences.
Liv Brava Advanced Pro: Geometry
Liv's 3F design philosophy was the basis for the development of the Brava Advanced Pro, whose frame and fork are made of "Advanced Grade" carbon, which is specially tuned for women. Its geometry is based on a global dataset of female anatomy. Using this data, Liv was able to optimize the weight distribution on the bike, putting the rider in a position that allows her to develop maximum power and efficiency.
