Gocycle Announces Next Generation E-Bike Line-Up: Lightweight performance and automotive-inspired exterior

February 10rd 2021 by Andrew Waldera

Gocycle G4

Product News / E-Performance: The e-bike brand Gocycle is releasing the first details about the new, foldable Generation 4 models. According to the British manufacturer, the G4 and G4i are characterized by light performance and an automobile-inspired exterior. The brand new G4 motor system has been integrated into the carbon front fork by the designers.

Gocycle G4

Both the G4 and G4i build on the award-winning GX and GXi models. The British e-bike brand celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2019 with the first quick-folding GX model, and in January 2020 Gocycle followed up with the quick-folding GXi. The GXi is the most rider-centric foldable e-bike to date. It features a variety of innovative technologies such as automotive-inspired daytime running lights (DRL), an LED cockpit and electronic, predictive switching. The announcement of the new G4 and G4i models promises a lot of news, but also leaves many questions unanswered - the British are definitely making it exciting!

Richard Thorpe, designer and founder of Gocycle states: “Our fourth generation line-up not only sets a new standard for us, but raises the bar for the entire foldable e-bike market. The G4 even has the potential to challenge the position of traditional non-folding e-bikes. When it comes to storage space and safety, there are no compromises with a fast e-folder and the driving dynamics valued by customers have been further improved with the G4. It is the most significant development step in the history of Gocycle to date.” At least it is certain that deliveries of the new models will begin in the spring. As soon as we have more information, we will of course communicate it at the Velomotion.
