Despite the integration of VDO Cycle Parts GmbH into Sigma-Elektro GmbH, both brands are to be retained - and this is apparently causing some confusion among specialist dealers and current contacts. The reason for this is that VDO orders come from the sender Sigma-Elektro GmbH. The company in Neustadt an der Weinstraße points out that, despite the merger, nothing will change in the sales channels for VDO customers. They continue to receive the goods through direct sales, but now from a new biller. The contacts for VDO products are also under the umbrella of Sigma-Elektro GmbH, like Petra Jung and Gerold Weindel. Products from Sigma, on the other hand, are ordered through wholesalers.
