Product news: Anyone who likes to travel by bike prefers to have only the bare essentials with them. Presumably this is exactly the reason for the success story of belt bags, also at Evoc. Precisely because of this success, Evoc is launching two new editions for the tenth anniversary, the Hip Pack Pro 3l and the Hip Pouch 1l, each in three different color variants. One with a little more volume, the other with space for the absolute necessities for the small after-work round.
Evoc Hip Pack Pro 3l: Sufficient space with maximum ventilation
Don't work up a sweat unnecessarily, that's the motto for bike tours in (high) summer. The Air Flow Contract System's Eva padding, which is perforated with ventilation ducts, offers the best ventilation with the smallest possible contact area, but there is also room for sufficient water reserves in the new Evoc Hip Pack Pro 3l.
With the Venti Flap system, the distance between the belt bag and the back can be adjusted with one hand, so it can be loosened on sweaty uphills and pulled to the back more stably on technical and rapid downhills. The elastic and length-adjustable Airo Flex hip belt does the rest for the best fit with maximum comfort, the zipped pockets on it have enough space for energy bars, cell phone and Co. including key holder, so the most important things are quickly to hand with one hand.
The quite spacious main compartment of the 3l hip bag offers a hydration system with a capacity of 1,5 liters, as well as an attached tool compartment for a multitool, spare hose and various small parts. And if the 1,5 liter drinking bladder (optional) is not enough, there are two rubber-coated mesh pockets on the outside of the bag in which drinking bottles can be held securely. In addition, an additional backlight clip is attached to the outside of the EVOC HIP PACK PRO 3l belt bag, so that you can also roll safely through the streets at night.
From autumn 2018, the EVOV HIP PACK Pro 3l will be available in the colors Carbon Grey, Carbon Grey/Chili Red and Sulfur/Moss Green.
Evoc Hip Pouch 1l: The up-and-coming talent for the short round
The rucksack is often too much for a small round in the evening, but not having anything with you is somehow not enough. So the EVOC HIP POUCH 1l is the right solution. In the small hip bag there is space for the essentials for a short tour and the back remains free. The hip belts are made of particularly light and air-permeable air mesh and are also moisture-wicking.
The two zipped pockets on the hips comfortably accommodate a wallet and mobile phone. Keys, small and spare parts go into the main compartment, which would even fit a thin windbreaker. Just like its big brother, the Evoc Hip Pouch 1l has been given a backlight clip for the necessary safety in the dark. Cereal bars and the like can be accommodated in the two flexible compartments on the main compartment.
The small all-rounder is not lacking in comfort either. The Air Pad System with its two cushions covered with Air Mesh ensures sufficient ventilation and good moisture management in the lumbar spine.
The Hip Pouch 1l will be available in the colors Slate, Loam and Black from autumn 2018.

I would like to add to the 1l hip pouch:

It would be important to know what exactly “everything you need” is! I think the most important thing is that a hose rolled up fits in. It does, and easily. In the three compartments from left to right I have the following stowed: tool tool, in the middle the mobile phone, and on the right a co2 pump/cartridge. The hose is then located in the middle of the large main compartment. There is actually still enough space to the right and left of the hose for other things, such as a wallet. The cell phone (I have an iPhone 7) just fits into the pockets on the belt with a tightening strap, but I think it's better kept inside. Bigger phones wouldn't fit there anymore (and most are bigger than the iPhone 7 these days). I still have a rain jacket in the main compartment (very thin) and a small box / can with small parts such as a chain lock. In the belt pockets there is space for keys, chewing gum, etc. in the pockets on the outside there is space for two bars as shown. So if you're traveling with drinking glasses on the frame, you're on the right track with the 1l Evoc. In my opinion, the 3l is oversized for it to be minimalist. If you only want a hydration pack mounted horizontally. Then you can rather reach for the Evoc for liters, then you can really fit quite a bit more in it and of course it has a larger seat than the 3l thing. But probably all a matter of taste again. Hope the text is of some help. Have fun in 2019. with your bike and selected equipment
