Cycling: Luis Leon Sanchez (Astana) competed at the Vuelta a Murcia Last year's winner Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) defeated. The two Spaniards pulled away from the peloton together and decided to win between themselves. Philippe Gilbert (Quick-Step Floors) finished third.
