September 2, 2017 by Michael Behringer

demare

Cycling: Arnaud Démare (FDJ) won the 97th edition of the Brussels Cycling Classic (1st HC). In the early evening, the Frenchman prevailed in a mass sprint ahead of Italy's Andrea Guardini (UAE) and Germany's André Greipel (Lotto Soudal). Although Démare was already in the wind very early, the competition could not overtake him.
