Cycling: Tomorrow the fourth mass sprint is expected at the 104th edition of the Tour de France. The destination of Nuits-Saint-Georges provides us with a real high-speed arrival. Who's ahead there?
The approach to the finish is flat, fast and not very technical
The seventh stage of the 2017 Tour de France takes the peloton 213,5 kilometers from Troyes to Nuits-Saint-Georges. The terrain can only be described as slightly wavy if the profile has a very high resolution. After starting in Troyes, it goes right into Burgundy. At the destination of Nuits-Saint-Georges, there are no technically demanding sections in the way of the drivers. There are also few elevations on the last few kilometers, strictly speaking it is even slightly downhill. The wide and very long home straight invites the pros to a real high-speed sprint. Late attacks and breakaway attempts seem almost impossible. A classic Sprint Royal is expected again tomorrow.

Our tip: Marcel Kittel will draw level with Erik Zabel tomorrow
Marcel Kittel (Quick-Step Floors) was able to win the sixth stage draw level with André Greipel (Lotto Soudal). The two top German sprinters now each have eleven stage wins in the Tour de France to their credit. Erik Zabel is twelve. We assume that Marcel Kittel will win the seventh stage of the 2017 Tour de France. He then draws level with Erik Zabel. Next to compatriot André Greipel, his strongest opponent is again Arnaud Démare (FDJ). Beating him would also be extremely important for the green jersey. Marcel Kittel is only 27 points behind there. There is a clear gap behind the three top sprinters. Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis), Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) and Alexander Kristoff (Katusha-Alpecin) have the best cards to reach the podium. In order for them to win, a lot would have to come together. Especially since tomorrow is a real high-speed finish without any technical difficulties. Similar to today in Troyes, such a home straight suits the final fastest professional: Marcel Kittel!
*** Marcel Kittel
** Arnaud Démare, André Greipel
* Nacer Bouhanni, Dylan Groenewegen, Alexander Kristoff
Andre Greipel: "Kittel is just better at the moment."
