Test: The centerpiece is the new Panasonic multi-speed motor. It offers two different gear ratios,
which are switched via a button. It works reliably and is an asset. Engine power is slightly throttled during the shifting process. All components on the Uproc can also inspire "real" mountain bikers. The derailleur gears, the immensely powerful brakes and the chassis are convincing even in ambitious off-road use. The well-made, solid frame also contributes to this. The ergonomics with wide handlebars and telescopic seat post are just as good. All testers found the display and operation confusing despite the large amount of information. The Flyer is not top in terms of efficiency and range, but the motor really supports it.
