Archive: Test: Haibike XDuro HardSeven 6.0

19 April 2017 by enrico

Test: Hardly any other manufacturer offers such a wide range of e-MTB models as the e-pioneers from Haibike. The XDuro HardSeven fits pretty much right in the middle of this broad spectrum: between a conservative touring bike and a sporty trail grinder. Driven by a Bosch Performance CX motor, the wide plus tires and the powerful 120 mm suspension fork go well with the bulky look of the sporty tourer. The seating position works just as well on weekend tours as it does on wild off-road adventures - a dropper post would have increased the off-road fun even further. The Sram NX 11-speed drivetrain does its job precisely and unobtrusively, while the Magura MT4 brakes are a little less responsive to heavy riders.
