Clothing: Zoot TT Trainer WR: The weatherproof running companion

27 October 2014 by the editorial office

Test: Autumn has arrived and in many parts of Germany the nights have already brought temperatures around freezing point. Time to switch training. Running sessions are also on the agenda for many people in autumn – especially for those who are out and about on cross bikes.

The clothing specialist Zoot, which is based in triathlon, has an interesting model in its range with the TT Trainer WR.

The shoe is seamless in the foot area, which results in an extremely high level of comfort. Due to the reduced friction points, the shoe fits right from the start. So nothing stands in the way of extensive running sessions. And with these, the shoe unfolds its full strengths, but also a weakness.

Thanks to a special coating, the Zoot ion mask is called, you don't have to be afraid of units in the forest or in the rain. Thanks to proven technologies like that BareFit and CarbonSpan+ the shoe stays under the 300 gram mark and is comfortable. This is especially true for people with a flat instep. This reveals a pleasantly wide footwell to the wearer. The shoe is cut relatively high at the heel and thus offers a secure hold. Only downhill did the foot slide forward in the shoe, which robbed the toes of their space.

The sole is stiff and comfortable in use. Even running units with severe legs made with the zoot TT Coach WR Fun. The profile is grippy and inspires confidence even on soggy ground.

A final plus: Thanks to the chosen color combination, you can also be seen in the dark.

Conclusion

the zoo TT Coach WR is a training running shoe that knows many strengths and only one small weakness. The latter can be easily coped with despite the all-round performance. Comfort and performance are at an extremely high level here.
