GripGrab Shark Padded Full Finger Gloves on test

Test GripGrab Shark Padded Full Finger: When shredding trails, the rider must be able to rely on maximum grip on the handlebars. With the Shark Padded Full Finger, the GripGrab brand offers a glove that is characterized by exceptional grip, comfort and control. You can find out in our test whether this is really the case.

Structure, materials and processing

The palm of the GripGrab Shark Padded Full Finger Gloves is made of suede, a durable synthetic suede. In the area between the middle and finger bones, the material is doubled for additional protection. The DoctorGel padding, which is generously dimensioned with a thickness of 4 millimeters, should ensure comfort when riding. Light and breathable mesh material is used on the back of the hand. The heavily used region between the thumb and forefinger was reinforced by the designers. The Shark Padded Full Finger is rounded off by a reflective strip on the little finger, silicone prints on the thumb and forefinger with the words "Never Lose Your Grip" and reinforced fingertips.

The GripGrab Shark Padded Full Finger glove put to the test

Putting on the glove is very easy thanks to the slip-in waistband. The fit is excellent and the build quality is superb. The light mesh fabric nestles perfectly on the back of the hand and also ensures an optimal climate. When driving, the supportive effect of the gel padding is immediately noticeable, which noticeably improves driving comfort. However, the robust palm reduces the grip feeling, in the area of the doubling the glove feels quite stiff due to the plus material. Irrespective of this, the wearing comfort, especially in view of the indestructible construction, is still convincing. True to the motto "Never Lose Your Grip", grip and grip on the handlebars leave nothing to be desired.

Extremely robust MTB gloves that don't take the toughest jobs crooked. The workmanship is very good, the materials used and the gel padding are also convincing. Only the grip could be a bit more sensitive in our opinion.
