cycling: Team Texpa-Simplon: Schneidawind comes fourth in the Rodgau Crossduathlon

March 11, 2014 by the editorial office

The MTB season is approaching in big steps and a week before leaving for the team training camp, the Texpa-Simplon biker Christian Schneidawind used the Rodgau Crossduathlon to gather racing stress.
3,4 km run, 20 km bike course and finally 3 km run were the key data of the event. Numerous good runners and triathletes from the greater Frankfurt area were also at the starting line. After the first run, Schneidawind switched to MTB in fifth place.

On the flat and fast bike course, the competition on cross bikes had clear advantages and despite the good condition of the day, the Texpa-Simplon biker managed to change the second time at the same time as the later third-placed rider but with a clear gap to the first two places.
In the last 3km, Schneidawind couldn't do anything against a strong runner and finished fourth overall.
