The Roc d'Azur Festival is a popular annual gathering for mountain bikers of all disciplines. In early February, a Roc event took place outside of France for the first time. The popular event concept was exported to Argentina. True to the original idea and with its high organizational quality, Roc de los Andes brought together all types of mountain biking and, with more than 600 riders, was Argentina's largest mountain bike event.
The main race of the event saw the drivers contest a 37-kilometer cross-country course. The level was first class and so the winner Claudio Ignacio Gutierrez Pertile, the course with 1500 meters of altitude difference, finished in just 1:52:20 hours. Inès Gutierrez won the women's classification with a time of 2:21:14 hours. Both riders will be invited to the next stop of the Roc events in Leux des Alpes, where they will meet the stars of European cross country sport.
