The Roc d'Azur Festival is a popular meeting place for mountain bikers of all disciplines every year. At the beginning of February, a Roc event took place outside the French borders for the first time. The popular concept of the events was exported to Argentina. In line with the original idea and the organizational quality, the Rock de los Andes all types of mountain biking together and was Argentina's largest mountain bike event with more than 600 riders.
The main race of the event saw the drivers contest a 37-kilometer cross-country course. The level was first class and so the winner Claudio Ignacio Gutierrez Pertile, the course with 1500 meters of altitude difference, finished in just 1:52:20 hours. Inès Gutierrez won the women's classification with a time of 2:21:14 hours. Both riders will be invited to the next stop of the Roc events in Leux des Alpes, where they will meet the stars of European cross country sport.
