# The "Infinito CV" in the top version.
The traditional Italian manufacturer Bianchi has picked up speed again in recent years. There is hardly a sporting event where you don't get to see the glowing Celeste of the Italians. However, anyone who thinks that Bianchi is resting on his laurels is wrong. We were able to convince ourselves of this at the Eurobike.
One of the new top models for 2014 is the comfort bike "Infinite CV". The addition "CV" stands for "Countervail", Bianchi's own damping structure of the carbon fibers of the frame. This was developed together with the engineers from Materials Sciences Corp. developed.
According to Bianchi, the advantages of the patented Countervail structure are obvious. The frame is designed to effectively dissipate vibrations from the road, making the ride more comfortable. In addition, the Countervail structure is designed to relieve the muscles, which saves energy and allows you to tackle longer tours.
# Bianchi's comfort racer will also be available with disc brakes.
Other features of the frame are the longer head tube and the longer wheelbase. This leads to a more relaxed sitting position and smoother running. Besides, there is "Infinite CV" in the classic version as well as a disc version. With this, the mount for the brake body is incorporated in the rear triangle. The fork is reinforced in the area of the mount and the dropouts. Both versions have internally routed cables and a clear design.
# Spaniard Juan Antonio Flecha tested the bike at Paris-Roubaix this year.
The price of both versions is based on the selected components. That's how it is "Infinite CV" as a team variant with Campagnolos "Great Record" , but also with Shimanos "Ultegra". Further information will be available soon at www.bianchi.com. [Link]
