Markt/Fuji Jari: the Jari is Fuji's new all-round gravel machine. This new development is equipped with details that clearly set it apart from the previously known bikes on the market. Whether asphalt, gravel or single trails, the Fuji Jari should be the perfect companion for any surface.
Three models from the Jari series are now available from specialist retailers. More than a century of know-how from bicycle construction went into the development of the numerous features of the Jari. A multi-butted A6-SL aluminum frame with a relaxed geometry and long head tube should provide a lot of stability, even with luggage.
In any case, you have thought about it and the frame can come up with beautiful details. Front and rear thru-axles increase lateral rigidity and also improve braking performance, according to Fuji. Adapters for the derailleur hanger enable a conversion from a 142x12mm thru axle to a 135mm quick release, so existing wheels can also be used. Comfort has also been considered: specially shaped seat stays ensure more comfort, even on rough ground, and should make the ride even more "smother". An internal cable routing has been given to the bike, for always optimal shifting behavior and to prevent problems when using panniers. All models have stops for 2x and 1x switching systems. The frame has a FlatMount disc brake mount. The Jari can handle tires up to 47mm wide.
A 2mm silicone shoulder pad on the underside of the top tube increases comfort when transporting the bike over rough terrain. This feature actually predestines the bike for cyclocross use. The Fuji Jari offers the possibility to transport "almost" everything that is not nailed down. Low-profile bento box (a box that is attached to the top tube, near the head tube), mounts directly on the top tube and three bottle holders ensure there is enough space, even for the extra long days in the saddle. Of course, it is also possible to mount a luggage rack. If it gets wet, the Jari offers hidden fender mounts on the fork. There is also enough space for the tires, Jari owners can mount 700x45c and 650x47c (Road Plus) tires depending on the surface.
There will be three models of the Fuji Jari, available in four sizes from 4 to 52 centimetres. It starts at €58 with the Jari 1.299 with a Shimano Tiagra 1.7×2. The mid-range model Jari 10 comes for €1.3 with a Shimano Ultegra 1.999×2. The top model, Jari 11, comes with a Sram Force 1.1×1 and costs €11. All models come with carbon forks and high-quality, well-chosen oval components.
