The development of time trial bikes is something like the supreme discipline of frame construction. No wonder, then, that Felt was involved in the development of the "DA2" left some time. During this time, the developers worked closely with cyclists such as Kristin Armstrong and Patrick Gretsch, as well as triathletes such as Terenzo Bozzone and Andi Bocherer. In addition, the frame was tested extensively in the wind tunnel. It features Felt's Dual Aero TT/Tri UHC Advanced carbon structure and, according to Felt, is said to be 14 percent more aerodynamic and 13 percent stiffer than previous American models. The frame is also Di2 compatible and features the brand new Bayonet 4 control unit with integrated front brake and internal cable routing. The placement of the Di2 battery in the frame also fits into this concept.
