Limited Magura Raceline special editions: The neon yellow classics return

23 April 2021 by Andrew Waldera

Magura Raceline

Product news: Like no other brakes, the neon-colored Magura Raceline embody mountain bike racing in its purest form. From Bart Brentjen's first HS33 Raceline to the Gustav M to today's MT7 Raceline lie more than two decades and countless successes in competitions. Actually only reserved for officially sponsored teams and athletes, Magura is launching a new edition of the MT2021 and MT8 Raceline for fans of the neon yellow stoppers at the start of the 7 season.

Magura Raceline

At the latest with Bart Brentjens' Olympic victory in Atlanta in 1996, the neon-colored brakes from Magura won the hearts of mountain bike fans worldwide. Like no other brakes, the conspicuous stoppers stand for pure racing. In line with the start of the season, the Bad Urach-based manufacturer is offering fans the neon yellow brakes as a limited special edition. The 195 gram light MT8 for cross-country and marathon competitions has a Carbotecture SL housing and an ergonomic 1-finger HC carbon brake lever for optimal braking feel. Magura has the MT7 model ready for ambitious gravity riders. The 1-finger HC brake lever modulates the braking power of the 4-piston MT7 as desired. Both special models are limited to the European market and are currently not available in the USA.
