With the founding of Pembree, Phil Law has fulfilled an affair of the heart. The 41-year-old Brit pursues a modern corporate philosophy in which ecological sustainability plays an important role in addition to manufacturing and product quality. To ensure a full and transparent carbon neutral position, the Heathfield-based brand has partnered with environmental organization TEMWA. The non-profit organization supports companies in the implementation of sustainability goals. In order to protect the environment in the best possible way, Pembree says it sources all the ingredients for its products as locally as possible.

The young company's first product is the R1V flat pedal for e-MTB, freeride and enduro. Developed and manufactured in the solar and wind-powered factory in Heathfield (East Sussex), the platform pedal should meet the highest ecological standards. According to the manufacturer, the interchangeable traction rails and pins in combination with the concave pedal body offer the biker an unprecedented level of support and support. Each pedal has two ball bearings and one needle bearing from SKF, in combination with a special spindle seal, the company promises the user maintenance-free driving for many years. All pins, bolts and nuts as well as the spindle of the pedal are also made of stainless steel.

Phil Law is so confident in the product that Pembree gives a five-year manufacturer's warranty. The R1V flat pedal weighs 312 grams and costs 199 British pounds per pair. With the recycling program #Pedals4Pedals, Pembree underlines its sustainable thinking. Buyers of the pedal can send in their used or broken pedals regardless of the manufacturer. The British company grants a ten percent discount on the purchase of a new Pembree product. The next pedal "Made in England" won't be long in coming: Phil Law and his team are already working hard on a new, light flat pedal for the performance enduro market and for slopestyle.
