woom launches new clothing line for kids: WORN TO BE WILD

7 October 2019 by Andrew Waldera

Product news: The children's bicycle manufacturer woom is presenting a new clothing line for kids under the label name WORN TO BE WILD. The cycling clothing should combine the areas of cycling and everyday life in an uncomplicated and stylish way. During production, woom relies on natural materials, high wearing comfort and creative designs.

The Austrian brand woom has been developing and manufacturing child-friendly bicycles since it was founded in 2013. According to their own statements, woom would like to get children excited about outdoor exercise by bike and thus lure them away from their cell phones. The brand is now taking another step in this direction with the new clothing line WORN TO BE WILD. The stylish combination of cycling and everyday life should ensure enthusiasm. In short, master everyday life by bike, whether in kindergarten, at school or at casual meetings with friends. For this purpose, woom not only relies on creative designs and high wearing comfort, but also on natural materials. Away from the usual polyester jersey, the range includes T-shirts, jackets, sweaters, trousers and original accessories.

Natural cotton becomes a functional material

The sunny yellow Cinoterra Adventure children's jacket is already striking in terms of colour. The jacket is made from a special, tightly woven cotton fabric made from long-staple fibres. According to the manufacturer, the dense all-weather fabric is water-repellent, windproof and yet breathable. In addition, the jacket should score with maximum comfort. Of course, the functionality is not neglected. Other features include the removable inner vest, a back pocket with reflective details, as well as buttons and zip pullers with bike motifs. The hood of the Cinoterra Adventure children's jacket can be pulled over the bike helmet and removed when not in use. The integrated inner straps allow the jacket to be worn as a backpack if necessary.

Bike-related motifs and smart features

With the WORN TO BE WILD T-shirts, of course, attention was also paid to the needs of cycling. To protect the kidneys, the shirts come with a bike-fit cut, which means the back area is slightly longer. The back pockets with button or zip provide space for provisions or small treasures. The designs were created by national and international illustrators such as Harald Lustinger and Justyna Stasik. The jeans made of elastic cotton material also promise comfort and safety. The adjustable waistband and insert in the crotch should ensure maximum freedom of movement. The products of the new WORN TO BE WILD clothing line by woom will be available from October 15th.
