Product news / E-Performance: In the past few days, Winora presented the innovations for the 2020 model year. We are not yet allowed to tell you anything about all the models, but we have already put together some of our first Winora e-bikes 2020 highlights for you. In addition to an upgrade for the well-known Radius, this includes the iX series with a new Bosch motor and the inexpensive Yucatan i8.
Winora Sinus iX series
With the Winora Sinus iX models, the aim is to appeal to the sporty e-biker who appreciates high-quality equipment and for whom comfort should not be neglected. The components are reminiscent of those of many mountain bikes and the 2020 Sinus iX e-bikes are powered by the new Bosch CX motor. A 500Wh Powertube battery supplies the drive with energy; Those who like longer tours can retrofit an additional external battery via the in-house Modular Rail System and increase the total capacity to 1.000Wh.
Winora Sinus iX12
The top model of the iX12 series comes with equipment that would also look good on many E-MTBs: With the new Shimano XT 12-speed gears, the new Bosch CX motor and the nimble, light 27,5″ wheels.
Engine: Bosch Performance CX
Battery pack: 500Wh
Circuit: Shimano XT 12-speed
Brake: Shimano XT
Frame Shapes: Trapeze, diamond, step-through

Winora Sinus iX10
If you don't have such high demands and don't necessarily want to afford the top model, you will find a bike with almost the same functionality in the Winora Sinus iX10, but it is 500 euros cheaper. The 10-speed Deore circuit does not quite have the range of the expensive XT counterpart, the MT400 brakes have slightly less bite. For the vast majority of applications, however, these differences should be insignificant.

Battery pack: 500Wh
Circuit: Shimano Deore 10-speed
Brake: Shimano MT400
Frame Shapes: Trapeze, diamond, step-through

Winora Yakun tour
Robust, versatile and comfortable: This is probably the best way to describe the new Yakun tour. Driven by the new Yamaha PW-X2 engine, which brings a sporty 80Nm to the ground, the Yakun is also suitable for relaxed or sporty tours as well as for everyday life in the city or in the country. Suspension fork and spring support make even bad bike paths pleasant. Thanks to the luggage rack and the integrated mount for Weber trailer hitches, the visually striking bike is also suitable for transporting and towing larger loads. The release up to a permissible total weight of 150kg also helps here.
Engine: Yamaha PW-X2
Battery pack: 500Wh
Circuit: Shimano XT 2×10
Brake: Magura MT4

Winora Radius tour
With its fresh concept, the Radius Tour is now enjoying a fairly large fan base and is getting a few updates for the 2020 model year. This includes the new PW-SE motor from Yamaha, which is said to work much more quietly than its predecessor. Of course, nothing changes in the successful concept of the small city runabout - the 20″ wheels and the stiff frame remain the same. The handlebars can be lowered and turned 90° in just a few moments using the Speedlifter Twist Pro. For example, the Radius needs even less space in the home.
