MTB News: The Crankworx World Tour is entering 2019 with three stops and a new championship discipline. In less than two months, the action-packed event series will start in Rotorua (New Zealand). The Crankworx World Tour then moves on to Innsbruck (Austria) and then, traditionally, to Whistler (Canada) at the end of the season.

Three stops and a new championship discipline in dual slalom await fans of the Crankworx World Tour this year. Not only the international mountain bike elite start at the spectacular events, but also the best and most promising young riders. Regardless of whether you are a pro or a rookie, as always, mountain bike gravity sports must be celebrated at the highest level in a wide variety of disciplines. Three events are scheduled for 2019, starting March 19-24 in Rotorua (New Zealand). The series starts with the 100% Dual Slalom Rotorua. A big addition for 2019 is the newly introduced Dual Slalom Crankworx Championship discipline, with runs taking place at every stop on the Crankworx World Tour. The increase in dual slalom competitions this year means more racing action for all Crankworx riders. In addition to categories for professionals and amateurs (both women and men), there will also be a category specifically for young drivers. After Rotorua, Innsbruck in Austria is on the agenda from June 12th to 16th. The end of the season will once again take place in Whistler, Canada. At the final stop of the tour, the dual slalom world champions for men and women will be crowned for the first time.
