Eurobike 2018: As is well known, there are always many innovations to admire at the Eurobike. This year, some manufacturers focused on e-racing bikes. This was also the case at the Corratec stand, where we were particularly drawn to two new e-racing bike models for 2019.
With the "E-Corones" and the "E-Allroad", Corratec is offering two e-racing bikes for the first time. These are powered by the Fazua mid-engine. There is also the "Allroad" without an electric drive.
Corratec E-Corones #newspeedlevel
Despite the aluminum frame, the new E-Corones only weighs around 14 kg. The e-racing bike is powered by the Fazua "Evation" mid-motor, which provides support with 250 W (maximum even 400 W) and up to 25 km/h. The driver can choose between four different support levels: up to 125 W, 250 W, 400 W or no support. Since the battery can be removed, the E-Corones can also be ridden like a normal racing bike. The "E-Corones" is not necessarily aimed at the classic racing cyclist, but at weaker training partners, cyclists with too little time for training or those who have problems on mountainous routes. The RRP is 4.499 euros.
Corratec E-Allroad #beyondtheroad
Corratec praises the 14,5 kg light "E-Allroad" as an all-rounder among road bikes including tailwind. It is well suited for commuters or cyclists who like to ride off-road. With the "E-Allroad" racing cyclists as well as adventurers have found the right tool. The FazuaMotor supports with 250 W (maximum even 400 W) and up to a speed of 25 km/h. The driver can choose between four levels of assistance: up to 125 W, 250 W, 400 W or no assistance. The battery can be removed and the "E-Allroad" can be ridden like a normal bike. The RRP is 3.599 euros.
Corratec ALLROAD #beyondtheroad
Corratec offers the “Allroad” in two carbon and two aluminum versions. All models are characterized by their universal application possibilities. The bikes with a sporty but comfortable seating position cut a fine figure in everyday life, but also on big adventures. Thanks to the luggage rack mount, the "Allroad" models offer plenty of space for luggage. With the new, stiff and light carbon frame, the heart of sporty, ambitious Gravel lovers in particular will jump. The RRP for the aluminum models starts at 999 euros, for the carbon versions at 2.699 euros.
Corratec C-Light LED daytime running light
The daytime running light made of white LEDs integrated in the frame is another feature that underlines the striking design of the e-bikes and at the same time increases safety.
Another improvement on the Corratec step-through bikes is a mudguard, which can be easily replaced in just a few simple steps, thus ensuring durability and a beautiful look.
