MTB News: After the start in Rotorua, the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship will make its second stop tomorrow in Innsbruck. Can Canadian Brett Rheeder get another win after his success in New Zealand? The top-class lineup definitely promises a lot of thrills. Red Bull TV will report live from Innsbruck with German commentary.
The second round of the Crankworx FMBA Slopestyle World Championship begins tomorrow, Saturday. The spectacle is staged in Innsbruck, where slopestyle history was made almost exactly a year ago. On the brand-new course, Brett Rheeder and Nicholi Rogatkin from the USA pulled never-before-seen tricks out of their sleeves – a battle that Rogatkin narrowly won. This year the two riders will meet again in Innsbruck. Can Rheeder repeat his Rotorua success and extend his lead in the standings? The Canadian is currently leading ahead of Thomas Genon from Belgium and Diego Caverzasi from Italy. Rogatkin is fifth after the Rotorua race behind France's Tomas Lemoine. The final starts at 15:30 p.m., with Red Bull TV broadcasting live and on-demand as usual. Guido Heuber and Andi Wittmann will provide the German commentary.
