General: Team Lübbering: Brilliant start to the German Cycling Cup

11 May 2018 by the editorial office

Inside blog / Team Lübbering: On April 22.04.2018nd, XNUMX the time had finally come. At the start of the season in the GCC circus - the Tour d'Energie in Göttingen - almost the entire team was represented on the long distance and was able to show great results right from the start.

The 2018 season started with summery temperatures. Angela Mancini, Alex Heinichen and Felicitas Wendler started in Block B
the rest of the team from Block A. Alex was able to play a major role in the leadership work in the neutralized phase in order to get far ahead.

Despite many attacks, the field largely stayed together and so the sprint on the home straight in front of the Gauss-Weber monument had to decide it. Here Manuela Freund was able to grab a place on the podium and finished third.

Team Lübbering results:

Women: 3. Manuela Freund, 10. Tanja Dittrich, 27. Angela Mancini, 28. Anna Otte, 39. Felicitas Wendler, 70. Merle Kaase

Men: 24. Malte Beversdorff, 31. Marius Bocker, 108. Alexander Heinichen, 317. Jörg Pohlmann, 387. Renzo Calligaro., 494. Leon-Wilson-Brown, 504. Oliver Nienaber, 751. Thomas Frost, 879. Stefan Frost
