Cycling: In cycling, a new year also means new teams, new sponsors, new material and, of course, new team jerseys for the riders in the WorldTour. Even if some teams stick to their jersey design, the first bike race on TV can cause confusion. That's why we put together a small overview of the new jerseys of the WorldTour teams so that you can immediately see who it is.
AG2R La Mondiale
The French team AG2R La Mondiale starts our overview. At second glance, what appears to be a small change in the design looks like a clear change in the color scheme. The well-known brown of the team takes over the main task and dominates the overall picture.

Team Astana
Team Astana has been known for its turquoise colors for many years. Also in 2018 they will stick to it and not change much in the design of the jersey.

Bahrain-Merida
At Bahrain – Merida there is a little more red in the jersey for 2018. Nevertheless, with Sportful you remain fundamentally true to the outfitter and thus also to the design. We don't have to get used to it too much when Vincenzo Nibali and his teammates get going again.

BMC Racing Team
Even with Golden Greg and colleagues not much changes with the well-tried Assos jerseys. However, the small blue additions have a strong effect on the overall picture. At first it definitely takes a little getting used to.

Bora-Hansgrohe
In the run-up to the team presentation, a lot was said and guessed about the jersey worn by Bora-Hansgrohe and world champion Peter Sagan. The design has also changed a bit due to the new outfitter Sportful. At least for Sagan's colleagues, who will continue to travel in turquoise, white and black kits.

Team Dimension Data
Minor changes to Dimension Data's kit featuring Mark Cavendish. A large proportion of white paired with the black and green sponsors' inscriptions and logos will be clearly visible at the races.

Team EF Education First - Drapac p/b Cannondale
A new main sponsor almost always brings with it a new kit design or at least a different colorway. The "survival" of Rigoberto Uran's team was secured with the entry of EF Education First. For the 2017 Tour de France runner-up, it's supposed to go yellow this year in pink.

FDJ Groupama
With the new main sponsor Groupama, the French racing team was able to secure its financial possibilities. Unfortunately, we don't have a picture of the new team jersey yet, as the official presentation won't be until the end of January. But maybe we'll get a first taste at the Tour Down Under.
Lotto Soudal
Lotto Soudal has little news in terms of kit design. The classic red and white tops and black pants by Andre Greipel and Co. will also be found in the peloton in 2018.

Michelton-Scott
The Australians have a new sponsor at the turn of the year in Michelton. The jersey design changes slightly, so the dark blue from 2017 gives way to a black base tone, the sleeves shine in a bright yellow, which should be reminiscent of the second main son Scott.

Movistar Team
There is a real change in design at Movistar. The light blue and the white Movistar M determine the outfit of the Spaniards significantly. This will be a real changeover for most fans, especially in the beginning, who are looking for the almost black and green kits.

Quick-Step Floors
A little more straightforward than in 2017 but in the classic Quick Step Floors colors, the Belgian team will be hunting for stages again in 2018 and will certainly also be fighting for one or the other classic victory.

Team Katusha Alpecin
Even if the signing of sprint superstar Marcel Kittel and the departure of Alexander Kristoff may change the structure of the team and especially the sprint train. Katusha Alpecin continues to use a strong red, which is supported by a light blue. Incidentally, the team is the only team that also has its own clothing label.

Team Lotto NL – Jumbo
The Dutch at Lotto NL – Jumbo are once again wearing black and yellow Shimano S-PHYRE jerseys this year. A small special feature on the jerseys is an individual number on the jerseys of the riders, with which the team strives for optimal recognition in the peloton. With the stories behind their personal number, the riders bring the cycling fan closer to their life and activities outside of their cycling career.

TeamSky
Team Sky will keep their shirt sponsor, Castelli, but change the main color from black to white. A horizontal stripe on the front and a vertical stripe on the back in classic Team Sky turquoise/light blue bring some life to the picture.

Team Sunweb
The German team Sunweb hardly changes anything in terms of jersey. Maybe after such a successful season you just wanted to stick with the proven design.
Here we have it; our 2018 kit. Look out for our distinct #KeepChallenging stripes in the peloton next year! pic.twitter.com/6ZyTbzl2vo

Trek-Segafredo
John Degenkolb and his colleagues from Team Trek – Segafredo will be on the road with a slightly different design in the coming season. This is certainly also related to the change of shirt sponsor to Santini SMS. Nevertheless, the basic colors red and neon yellow are used for the competition and training kit.

UAE Team Emirates
The UAE Team Emirates has strengthened its team with extremely strong drivers including Fabio Aru, Daniel Martin and Alexander Kristoff. With the jersey from Champion System you stay true to your colors. The white European Champion jersey by Alexander Kristoff should particularly stand out.
