This Thursday evening, the Bora-hansgrohe team officially introduced itself for the 2018 season. As so often, the main actor of the evening was the three-time world champion Peter Sagan. The team's 27 drivers also include a total of seven German professionals and the reigning German champion Marcus Burghardt and the reigning Austrian champion Gregor Mühlberger. In addition, the new Specialized racing machines were shown, which will be used as in 2017. There were innovations with the jersey, which now comes from the Italian manufacturer Sportful and has a slightly different design. However, the main colors of black, white and turquoise remained true. As part of the team presentation, the second main sponsor, hansgrohe, also announced that after a very successful first season, the sponsorship agreement and the commitment had been extended beyond the initially agreed period and that the team will remain loyal to them for years to come.
Team manager Ralph Denk, who presented a tattoo as a tribute to world champion Peter Sagan, was also a real eye-catcher. It should be about gambling debts to the old and new world champion.
