Video / Lifestyle: Thomas Genon is undoubtedly one of the most gifted slopestyle riders in the world. However, a foot injury at the beginning of the year forced the versatile Belgian to take a break. The 2015 FMB World Champion used the time to collect some ideas, which he immediately implemented in his latest video "Tommy G's 3140" after his recovery. Most of the shots were taken at his home spots, around 180 kilometers from Montpellier.
Thomas Genon about his new video Tommy G's 3140: “I love filming. The idea for this project came about during my injury break. I had a lot of time to think about what I would do once I got back on the bike. I had a lot of different ideas and tricks in my head and it just feels good to implement some of them in this video!
With this video I want to show my riding style and what I enjoy on the bike. From jumps to trails and playfulness on two wheels. Every single shot in the video was so much fun! At contests there is often not enough time to get really creative and perfect the movements.
Most of the shots were taken in my garden and in the woods behind my house. As soon as I was fit enough to ride again after the injury, Marc-Oliver and I started shooting. It only took about a week for everything to be finished. Pretty good considering this was our first project together! We had a great time and we were both able to focus on what was important to us without any pressure.”
