MTB News: Gabriel Wibmer is on track to embark on a career similar to that of his famous cousin Fabio. Gabriel's amusing and action-packed clip "Late for School" has garnered more than nine million views on YouTube. Now the only 18-year-old follows up with a new clip – and at the same time announces the partnership with AMS (All Mountain Style).
Things are going really well for young downhiller Gabriel Wibmer at the moment. More than nine million YouTube views and the new partnership with All Mountain Style (AMS) pave the way for a professional career. And that's exactly where Gabriel wants to go after graduating from high school in the summer of 2021. He already gets on his bike almost every day and rocks the local trails in East Tyrol. With his latest video "Shredding the local trails", the 18-year-old once again proves his skills. From whips to tabletops, from a no-hander to a backflip, the East Tyrolean once again pulls some spectacular tricks out of his sleeve on his local trails at the foot of the Großglockner. It's even fun to watch 🙂
“I have known AMS for a long time. The two founders, Xavi and Carles and the rest of the team make really cool products. Video shoots are always great and the two days were a lot of fun. The crew was super easygoing and knew exactly what they wanted. That makes it easy for me as a rider. Best of all, I was able to ride most of the sections on my local trails more often. Even pushing it up wasn't bad. The jumps are just awesome. If you do these more often in a row, you can explore your limits more and more. In the video are some easy tricks done in one take. That added value to the shoot” – Gabriel Wibmer
