MTB cycling / everyone: The organizers are very satisfied with the first run of the Enduro One racing series 2017. About 600 mountain bikers came to Frammersbach in Lower Franconia and thus ensured a record starting field. The paddock was completely occupied down to the last seat.
Of course, the two new classes E1 Wild Childs and E1 E-Bike were awaited with particular excitement. Both premieres were a complete success: both the 21 young bikers and the 28 e-bikers delivered exciting races on Saturday in glorious weather. While the young bikers gave the chain downhill, the e-bikers had to overcome altitude and obstacles uphill. With this special stage, the e-bikers had already completed the first special stage, and the prologue was then scheduled for the eight other classes. A total of seven stages awaited the enduro riders on Sunday. In the E1 Women class, Sarah Lentes (Flowtrail Stromberg) won and in the E1 Pro riders Andre Kleindienst (Bergamont Hayes Factory Team). The Enduro One racing series makes the second stop on 27./28. May 2017 in Aschau im Chiemgau.
