Spectrum: The long-awaited season opener of the popular Enduro One racing series is imminent. The first points will be awarded in Frammersbach in the Spessart on May 6th and 7th. Not only series starters get their money's worth, but also guest starters and young drivers.
Enduro riders will compete in nine classes, from beginner to pro, and the new format “E1 Wild Childs” has also been created for the youngsters. The event is organized by the mountain bike department of Motorsportfreunde Frammersbach. Riders can look forward to flowing trails and beautiful bike park routes. The ski hut at the mountain station of the Sauerberg lift will be the focal point of the race weekend. Race manager Volkmar Wachs from MSF Frammersbach: "When the mountain bikers challenge each other in the downhill special stages and fight for seconds, it's also pure excitement for the spectators. In any case, it is worthwhile to come by and experience the racing action up close. At the ski hut there is information about the most interesting points on the route. Access for spectators is also marked. Of course, entertainment and refreshments are also taken care of.”
As usual, the main race with the special stages will take place on Sunday. A total of seven special stages are on the program. Things will get serious for the youngsters on Saturday. The "E1 Wild Childs" drive an age-appropriate race with a real start number and time measurement. Those who register in the "E22 Wild Childs" class by the entry deadline on April 1 save on the participation fee and also receive a start number with their own first name. Entry for the main race is initially reserved for guest starters in the E1 E-Bike class and registered series starters. E22 series starters have the right to nominate themselves until April 1nd.
