Market: The Magura MT family continues to grow. The new MT Trail Sport takes up the proven concept with four pistons at the front and two pistons at the rear and presents itself as the little sister of the MT Trail Carbon. The brake is designed for All Mountain and Enduro use.
The MT Trail Sport has a Carbotecture brake handle, lever and caliper are made of aluminum. Magura Royal Blood hydraulic oil is used as the brake medium. According to the manufacturer Magura, the front brake weighs 255 grams and the rear brake weighs 230 grams. The MT Trail Sport weighs more than the MT Trail Carbon, but at a price of 219,00 euros it is also significantly cheaper.
Also new: Owners of a Magura MT6, MT7, MT8 or MT Trail Carbon brake will soon be able to retrofit their brakes with the HC3 brake lever. The shorter and individually adjustable 1-finger brake lever co-developed by Danny Mac Askill is intended to ensure even better dosing for the rider. Features of the high-tech brake lever are individual adaptability to the hand size and adjustability of the mechanical transmission. The weight of the brake lever is 38 grams, the price is 67,90 euros per piece.
Both products will be launched and presented to the public at SeaOtter Classics.
