MTB / Lifestyle: Next Friday, the best dirt jumpers in Europe will meet for the first time this year at the Leoganger Schteilift to determine the best styler among them. In contrast to “normal” dirt riding, the riders can let off steam on snow at this unique event.
For the twelfth time, Leogang welcomes fans of big airs and casual tricks with Slopestyle on Snow. Tons of snow were once again moved for the first FMB World Tour event of the year. Bright floodlights will bathe the final, which starts at 19.30 p.m., in dazzling light. The qualifying starts at 16.00 p.m. Spectators can look forward to massive tricks that will be conjured up into the sky like fireworks by the 20 top slopestylers. The Pole Szymon Godziek will be there, who of course wants to defend his title. If he can do that, he would be the first rider to reach the top podium spot in the White Style three times in a row. Nico Scholze and BMX pro Michael Meisel start for Germany.
Following the finale, a fire show will warm up spectators and drivers. But that's not the end of it in Leogang: The program still includes the Best Trick Content and the award ceremony. The Scott Snow Downhill Race will also take place on Friday for downhill skiers. Regardless of whether you are a dirt rider, a downhill rider or a spectator: at the end of the day everyone meets in the Leoganger KrallerAlm for the obligatory after-contest party.
