Market: The US start-up Everysight surprised for the first time today with pictures of its new Raptor cycling glasses. The special feature: the glasses can not only connect to a smartphone, Garmin or other devices via Bluetooth, but the BEAM technology also projects selected data onto the glasses and into the driver's field of vision. Just as you know it from modern cars or airplane helmets, for example.
The future is now! Such thoughts certainly come to mind when watching the video for the new Everysight Raptor glasses. Data such as speed, power and cadence are projected directly into the driver's field of vision. No more looking down at the bike computer - you have all important data directly in view without being distracted from what's happening on the road or trail. The glasses should also be able to display text messages from smartphones. A navigation function is also on board: a directional arrow in the field of vision always shows the direction in which you need to orient yourself.
The glasses are currently still in the test phase, for which the company is still looking for participants. For now, this beta test is limited to the United States, but we plan to expand it to other regions in the future.

Nobody needs it and probably costs a fortune again.
